Singapore Thomson Reuters Full time

We’re looking for a talented and original thinker with excellent analytical and writing skills to join our team in Asia. This is an opportunity to set the agenda on corporate finance, banking, economics and markets across the region.

Reuters Breakingviews has an unrivalled reputation for delivering clear, punchy, and well-informed views for decision-makers around the world. As part of the global news organization, we combine access to high-level contacts with the highest standards of independence and accuracy.

You will be relentlessly curious; brim with original ideas; enjoy working collegially with a regional and global team; and bring a high level of numeracy. We are seeking an experienced journalist or analyst who is comfortable unpicking an income statement, deal term sheet or IPO prospectus, and someone able to craft sharp, punchy and well-sourced views.

Though writing experience is a distinct advantage, deep curiosity about the inner workings of finance, a ready supply of original ideas and the ability to slice through complex concepts are more important.
