**Our client provides support in the various sector**: Private Equity, Real Estate, Capital Markets, Corporate, Company Formation, and Private Wealth. They are seeking an experienced relationship manager for alternative investment.
**Purpose of the role**:
This role is to expand the existing client portfolio and increase revenue for Singapore.
**Key responsibilities**:
Client implementation ensures delivery of quality service for all clients assigned and responding promptly and proactively to client queries, keeping other members of the client handling team advised of progress.
Managing the onboarding process of new and existing clients liaising with business development, compliance, legal, and client services to ensure smooth and successful client intake.
Commercial - day-to-day handling of new business from existing clients for cross-selling and upsell opportunities and liaising with the relevant departments to get the same executed.
Manage revenue target.
Client relationship and retention - developing close professional relationships with clients and advisors to ensure long-term, profitable relationships, being attentive to client needs and concerns, and maintaining client confidentiality.
Strong industry and technical knowledge of the whole fund operations - from structuring, investor onboarding, fund accounting, corporate compliance, regulations, FATCA/CRS, tax compliance, etc.
Understanding of the product and services as well as the internal systems and processes.
Ensuring an efficient turnaround time for all inquiries.
Recording of sales pipelines for meetings.
Systematic use of commercial reporting and CRM tool Salesforce.
Contribute to the development of the role by generating ideas and implementing best practices.
Managing client proposals.
Actively assist and support marketing activities by working on events, newsflashes, product sheets, mailings, etc.
Develop knowledge about the industry and products with the aim of promoting these to our clients, prospects, and intermediaries.
Attending seminars and industry events.
Attending meetings with clients.
**Attributes & Skills**:
Excellent communication and organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines and able to recognize and respond to risk situations.
Curious and desirous to learn about the services the client delivers and the markets in which the client operates.
Client centric - focus on addressing and delivering client needs.
Able to solve problems, and work independently as well as a member of a team.
Results-oriented and pro-active.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to interact with colleagues and clients, along with good communication skills is essential.
Good presentation and client-oriented. Good networking contacts and abilities.
Self-starter with excellent planning & organizational skills.
Be a successful team player.
Fluency in both written and verbal English is mandatory. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred and additional languages would be a further asset.
**Relevant experience**:
At least 3-5 years relevant work experience in a sales/similar position.
At least 2 years of managerial experience.
**Education/Professional Qualifications**:
Degree in Economics/Law/Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
