Business Development Executive

Our client is a global MNC company with diversified interests in multiple business lines in various sectors with major presence across the world. They are currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join their chemicals team.

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the incumbent will be supporting two different teams. He/she will have to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to follow up on enquiries, understand requirements and communicate them clearly to execute the sales transactions.

The incumbent will also be working on executing business strategies that are in line with the company’s strategy and risk management guidelines by working on trade flows within the APAC countries and ensuring timely logistics coordination.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
- At least 3 years’ experience in the chemicals industry
- Prior working knowledge of the petrochemical industry will be advantageous
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Open to travel 2-3 times per year for business purposes
