**What you will be working on**
- A vibrant local sport leagues/competitions ecosystem that enhances our pathways and pipelines; allowing people of different age groups and abilities to play and compete regularly. The leagues and competitions will be well supported by venue, event and sport industry partners, and will gain the interests from public (fans) and corporate partners (sponsors). You will : - Analyse the ecosystem to understand the needs of various sports, level of competition, age group - Plan the format of ActiveSG Leagues & Competitions suitable for all ages and abilities - Evaluate all existing local competitive events and provide recommendations for efficient resource deployment - Plan an annual calendar filled with wide range of competitive events to look out for - Improve relationships with NSAs to explore opportunities to enhance their events organisations capabilities - Rally and gain support from grassroot communities to enable nationwide participation - Seek discussion platforms with various industry partners to creatively enhance their current offerings - Drive interests from corporate partners to support/ sponsor local competitive events - Plan and budget for the execution of ActiveSG Leagues & Competitions - Work with internal stakeholders and appointed service providers to successfully execute the identified events - Identify the risks involved and implement the suitable safety protocols accordingly - Work closely with the key agency and internal stakeholders to establish the scope and deliverables of the agreement - Identify and recommend the resource allocation principles and framework for sport facilities (ActiveSG and DUS) according to areas of priority/focus - Execute the tender(s) necessary to appoint suitable vendor(s) to operate DUS facilities for approved programmes and leagues/competitions
