Assistant Public Relations Officer

Assistant Public Relations Officers (PRO) should possess the knowledge and ability to ensure the effective management of public relation issues and addressing general project queries from residents with tact and patience. PROs are responsible for the maintenance of good relations and rapport between residents and other relevant parties through effective communication in English and one other official language. Ability to speak one other Chinese dialect is a plus.
Your job will include:
- liaising with sub-contractors on residents' requirements and changes to ensure the punctual completion of units.
- liaising with sub-contractors to ensure that necessary materials are acquired as scheduled.
- liaising with and between HDB, Residents' Commitees (RCs), and Town Councils.
- coordinating meetings between sub-contractors, clients, consultants, and other relevant parties.
- attending to residents' feedback, queries, requests, and complaints with tact and patience.
- preparing administrative reports for key indicators such as manpower needs, water testing, residents' choice/changes, etc.
- preparing work schedules and safety documentations.
- placing of orders for materials needed.
- arranging of water tests for specified units.
- setting up organized systems for filing and HIP programmes.
- showing, explaining, and demonstrating to residents the locations and purposes of the Enhancement for Active Seniors (EASE) retrofits provisions.
- assisting Public Relations Officer (PRO) with clerical duties.
