**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate the movement of goods and shipments, both domestically and internationally, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and company policies.
- Assess and choose appropriate carriers and transportation providers based on factors like cost, reliability, and capacity to meet shipment demands.
- Track the progress of shipments throughout the transportation process, proactively communicating updates and potential delays to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, customs forms, and other paperwork, to ensure accurate and timely shipment processing.
- Analyze freight costs, negotiate rates with carriers, and explore opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining service quality.
- Keep abreast of transportation regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance to ensure shipments comply with legal guidelines.
- Handle and resolve any issues or challenges during transportation, such as delays, damages, or customs clearance problems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to freight shipments in a professional manner.
- Generate regular reports on freight activities, key performance indicators (KPIs), and relevant metrics to evaluate logistics operations’ efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, including sales, purchasing, warehouse, and inventory teams, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of freight operations.

Qualifications:

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in freight coordination.
- Familiarity with transportation modes, regulations, and international shipping practices.
- Exhibit strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
