**About the Department**:
Global Markets Structuring (GMS) is a multi-asset structuring desk within UOB Global Markets. The team is responsible for developing, pricing, structuring as well as the execution of derivative products and structured solutions relating to all asset classes. The team is an integral part of the bank’s strategic business initiatives to better leverage upon its large and deep customer base across the region, where it has tangible strengths and depth of client relationships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Job Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a high level of technical expertise with ability to originate, price, structure customize bespoke payoffs or solutions across multi-asset products
- Test, develop and roll-out new products and payoffs with the ability to synthesize and decompose embedded structures across the relevant asset classes and drafting of termsheets to cater to nuances in different structures across various local markets
- Take the lead in obtaining the necessary buy-in and approvals from all relevant internal stakeholders when launching new products from origination, product life cycle and distribution
- Possess a keen understanding of the various regulatory regimes and competitive landscape with particular focus on Asia Pacific to position UOB as a leading Regional Bank
- Supporting regional structuring team and Global Markets Sales in delivery of GM KPIs
- Proactively interact and participate in client meetings with GM Sales

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in multi-asset macro structuring or trading as primary focus
- Positive attitude, lateral thinker who can show initiative and creativity
- Ability to solve problems and influence across businesses, functions and support teams within the Bank
- High-energy individual with a passion for the financial markets, and an entrepreneurial, self-motivated spirit.
- A combination of technical expertise (derivatives pricing, Quant Finance, programming, CFA, FRM) and formal business related qualifications or experience is advantageous (MBA, Economics, Masters in Finance or similar)
