**Job Description**:
L1 Support

Main purpose of the role:
To be responsible for the patching and vulnerability management of all Infra environments across data centres

Key accountabilities and duties:
To perform patching on Database (MSSQL, Oracle) and Linux.

Monitor systems to ensure all patching is completed successfully and track patch management metrics, producing reports on compliance & effectiveness.

To participate in daily checks on Linux Servers and log any issues not already logged by monitoring and alerting.

To escalate on all major patching and vulnerability issues to L2/L3 teams where appropriate.

To raise appropriate changes in order for patch implementation and adhere to internal Change Control and ITIL standards.

To ensure all communications on patch schedule, change planning & approval are done with Apps/Business Owners.

Able to work Shifts that can be part of 24*7 operating model

To carry out any other task associated with the role as reasonably requested.

Knowledge, skills and experience:
1 to 3yrs Working experience on patch executor having skills on Database (MSSQL, Oracle) and Linux

Should have basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and system administration tasks.

Familiar with VMware

Familiar with databases Patching, L1 Troubleshooting Skills

Familiar with Windows OS - Not Mandatory

Understanding of Database (Oracle, MariaDB)

Coordinate tasks with multiple team and collaboration skills.

Skills on Excell are added advantage.

Good Communication and teamwork abilities

Willingness to work in shifts/weekend
