ARD German TV is looking for a Senior Camerawoman or Cameraman for its Southeast Asia office in Singapore. ARD German TV is a not-for-profit public broadcaster targeting a German audience with German-language productions.

**Key responsibilities**
- Operation of various types of cameras as required for individual production and program
- Live news broadcasting, and production of documentaries, scenic productions, reports and news for TV
- Liaising with headquarters and regional offices in Germany to manage technical equipment as well as the individual production requirements
- Liaising with producers and reporters and direct the technical requirements for production
- Maintenance and testing of all relevant technical equipment
- Frequent international travel

**Requirements**:

- Degree in digital audio, video production, film sound and video mass communication
- At least 3 years experience as senior camerawoman or cameraman in filming documentaries, scenic production, reports and news
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of various types of cameras as required for a range of different formats
- Written and spoken proficiency in German to communicate with headquarters and regional offices in Germany for equipment and production management
- Written and spoken proficiency in English to communicate with international teams and during productions in various countries
- Good knowledge of location sound recording
- Good working knowledge of location lighting for indoor and outdoor shoots
- Knowledge of non-linear editing and production of social media content
- Intimate understanding of imagery of ARD German TV‘s programs, shows and formats and experience working for them
- Intimate understanding of Germany’s public broadcasting system and ARD
- Customer-focused team player with good communication skills and engaging behaviour
- Prepared to work on irregular shifts including weekends and public holidays and on very short notice
- Prepared to work ad-hoc in any country and environment, in team or alone
- Physical and psychological resilience
