**The Company**

The German Centre for Industry and Trade Pte Ltd (GCS) is the pilot project of several German Centres worldwide. It was established in 1995 and is a 100% subsidiary of the GC GmbH and a member of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) - Group. Its objective is to provide comprehensive support to mainly German speaking companies that are establishing their own presence in Singapore. The company owns the building known as ‘German Centre’ and provides flexible office space solutions, various business centre services and access to relevant networks.

Job Overview:
The Project Manager will work closely with the Managing Director (MD) in Singapore for planning and overseeing the projects from start till end. He/she will have the coordinator role between the company in Singapore and the Headquarter in Germany and will play an active role in managing several projects simultaneously which would require frequent close communication with our shareholders in Germany, our partners, and multipliers in Singapore.

Scope:

- Preparation of reports for board meeting, budgets and any other adhoc management reporting when required for the MD.
- Oversee all project status within the company working with the respective team members/stakeholders where relevant to ensure compliance, high level of satisfaction and timely submissions.
- Provide support in financial analysis, budget, forecast for all projects.
- Be the first point of contact for the German Headquarter.
- Be the first point of contact for German speaking partners, customers, potentials, and key accounts.
- Lead the digitalisation projects within the organisation, e.g. online booking systems for our products.
- Coordinate, organise and run delegations from Germany and other foreign countries.
- Coordinate and organise the business travels schedule and budget.

Successful Applicant should possess:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in project management.
- Competent in English language (i.e. written & spoken).
- Competent in German language (i.e. written & spoken).
- Capacity to manage high stress situations
- Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
- Sensitivity to cross culture dynamics, team player.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented individual with good communication and time management skills.
- Able and willing to handle difficult/demanding clients/partners with tact and discretion.
- Eager to explore new, agile working methods and able to cope with last minute inquiries and changes.
