**Job Dimensions**:

- Drive, manage and lead development of regional purchasing projects and strategies of key raw materials, energy and packaging in South East Asia and Oceania
- Sourcing/benchmarking responsibility for energy
- Management of Energy & Packaging indexes
- Management of purchasing strategies for packaging category regionally
- Develop and drive projects on renewable energies, such as solar electricity

**Job Activities**:

- Development and implementation of activities including:
- Raw material strategy: development, negotiation and execution of supply agreements
- Negotiate and execute purchase contracts and spot purchases with approved suppliers
- Management of supply reliability, and Risk Assessment of RMs
- Developing and reporting of savings projects
- Direct purchasing responsibility of raw materials and energy for existing ARKEMA plants, including:

- Supplier selection, negotiation & contracting which leads to competitive advantage for ARKEMA: reliable supply & competitive cost
- Coordination & development of strategic business relationship with competitive producers/suppliers of raw materials and energy
- Optimize the working capital related to Purchase (raw materials inventory, payment terms, payables)
- Effective and regular communication with stakeholders: Supply Chain, Logistic, Production, R&D, Sales & Marketing and Site Management, including participation in BU meetings to present market dynamics and changes in key raw materials
- Market intelligence: gather information, analyze and understanding the market
- Paticipate actively in the annual budget and monthly forecast process

**Required Profile**:

- Fluent English, Chinese & French is plus
- Completed Tertiary Education
- Successful experience working in a global organization environment
- Strong leadership skills, positive experience in creating organizational change
- Result-oriented and self-motivated
