**The Regional Manager - APAC** is responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day operations in Plus’s APAC office ensuring superior levels of services to corporate clients, relocating employees and Plus suppliers. Responsibilities include supply chain management, client services staff management, client relations and prospective client functions, and general regional management.
**Working Location**: This is a work-from-home position open to citizens and residents of Singapore.
**Working hours**: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm SGT
**Global Headquarters**: Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
**Essential functions**:
- Serve as the main point of contact for prospective customers, regional client contacts and supplier partners
**Supply chain responsibilities (60% of role)**
- Act as regional global supply chain representative for internal and external meetings and events such as client reviews and professional conferences
- Oversee and manage the execution of end-to-end supplier management including, but not limited to, ongoing analysis, sourcing, contract management, onboarding, ongoing training, and performance management
- Collaborate with regional teams and managers to ensure the implementation of supplier management strategies are consistent with global best practices across regions
- Serve as the regional level of escalation
**Client services responsibilities (25% of role)**
- Maintain and monitor team workload, performance, and service delivery quality
- Maintain and measure direct reports’ KPI and competencies
- Assess and manage direct reports’ initial and ongoing learning and development opportunities
- Conduct ongoing and annual performance reviews with recommendations for salary increases, promotions and disciplinary action as appropriate
- Oversee allocation of resources and staff to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service
- Provide guidance for team members regarding the resolution of operational and customer service situations
- Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and retention of highly engaged employees
**Client relations and prospective client responsibilities (15%)**
- Manage client initiatives, requests, projects, and enhancements
- Support in the research and resolution of client-related inquiries
- Participate in sales presentations and relationship development opportunities
- Manage the interface between implementation, sales, service and the clients to ensure quality start-up on all services
- Assist in the ongoing development of global strategies that meet the evolving needs of clients and provide market credibility for the company
- Collaborate with team members and clients to effectively identify and resolve problems, as well as use new concepts, processes, and technologies to create efficiencies
- Assume ownership of assigned projects and initiatives
- Provide indirect and direct client consulting as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in global mobility, procurement or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in leadership or people management, preferably in a team-oriented environment
- Willing to travel as business requires
- College degree preferred
**Knowledge, skills, and abilities**:
- Understands global relocation services and operational delivery
- Computer skills necessary for normal business matters (Microsoft Suite/Excel required, Salesforce CRM preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Ability to motivate and coach direct reports
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Passionate about building and maintaining relationships and networks externally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactively protects internal and external confidential information
- Ability to respond resourcefully and constructively to new demands, priorities, and challenges
