**Overview**:
An industry-leading construction firm specializing in large-scale data centres is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Construction to oversee and manage all construction activities outside of China.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Project Scope and Responsibilities:

- Oversee all construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement construction strategies and plans.
- Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage current projects including a data centre in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia
- Oversee the construction of hyperscale data centres, ensuring timely completion.
- Coordinate multiple sites simultaneously, ensuring efficient project execution.

Team Structure and Management:

- Foster a cooperative and high-performance team environment.
- Provide mentorship and professional development for team members.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Define and track KPIs to measure the success of construction projects.
- Ensure projects meet budgetary constraints and timelines.
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance.

Budget and Resource Management:

- Oversee project budgets and resource allocation.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources and materials.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Challenges and Opportunities:

- Address and resolve construction-related challenges swiftly.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- Extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably data centres.
- Experience with major contractors.
- Previous experience as a project manager with a strategic view on construction projects.
- Regional exposure with a deep understanding of the APAC construction landscape.

Technical Skills:

- Strong technical background in construction.
- Familiarity with modern construction technologies and project management software.

Language Skills:

- Proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus.

Management Skills:

- Senior management experience with the ability to lead and inspire large teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Certifications:

- PMP certification or equivalent is required.

**Additional Information**:

- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region regularly and globally a few times a year.
