RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Strategic Planning and Business Development_
- Responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the company's mission and goals.
- Responsible for short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of SEA.
- Researches and analyzes industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest.
- Identifies and prioritizes product and service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation.
- Develops complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation and plans for projects.
- Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business.
- Sales and Marketing Management_
- Planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products/services.
Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions.
- Lead the Team to evaluate, measure, and manage the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.)
- Lead the Team to provide customer service and support in the form of information on product/price and resolution to issues related to billing, shipping, delivery, complaints
- Develop sales plans and budgets, establish sales targets and goals.
- Lead the development of the sales strategy.
- Effectively establish sales and marketing alignment through the development of business initiatives that focus on areas of greatest sales opportunities and service conversion.
- Actively participate in winning key orders by working with the sales representatives, prospects, subcontractors and other influencers. Spend at least 80% of time actively participating in sales pursuits with the sales representatives by participating in sales calls, presentations and other activities.
- Ensure margin requirements are met by reviewing, modifying and approving price quotations ensuring the adherence to pricing procedures and appropriate material rates.
- Facilitate regional orders forecasting process on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Identify the top 20 regional accounts and implement the regional account management process.
- Assist in the negotiation and closure of large sales and contract escalations.
- Coordinate with other business and functions in APMEA region. Effectively select profitable targeted sales opportunities. Effectively manage key accounts.
- Collect the receivable in a timely manner.
- Implement sales tools and processes.
- Lead the local implementation of business standard and prescription of the products / solution by engaging with the main stakeholders in the market, end user, consultant and contractors to grow key revenue elements and maximize margin and booking objectives.
- Contribute to establish and maintain effective customer relations in person or in conjunction with other departments to resolve problems or respond to enquiries. Focus on exceeding customer's expectation and maintaining a satisfied customer base.
- Develop high level relationships with existing and potential key regional customers.
Support major opportunities arising in the region in conjunction with the sales team.
- Network effectively both internally and externally to develop strong relationships with end users and business contacts.
- People Management_
- Lead and manage SEA team in an effective manner, implement and ensure the compliance with the company policies, processes, tools and best practices.
- Responsible for employee engagement and DEI.
- Monitor, organize and supervise the daily activities of team members.
- Conduct performance reviews for all team members and establish development plan for each team member.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor Degree of Engineering, or Management etc.
MANAGEMENT:
Sales Team, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service
QUALIFICATIONS:
Management experience.
50% travel required.
Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Understand local languages in Malaysia or Indonesia is a plus.
Ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
Ability to leverage resources from different functions and countries to achieve goals
Extensive investigation and analysis for complex problems.
