Key Responsibilities:
The RF will conduct research on ship performance in realistic operational scenarios. The roles of this position include:

- Prediction of the added power in typical seaway conditions to support the rational determination of the installed power of ships.
- Investigation of the propulsive performance of a ship at off-design conditions.
- Support the development of advanced softared tools for ship performance analysis.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

- PhD from reputable universities in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, marine hydrodynamics, naval architecture.
- Expertise in using CFD software, such as OpenFOAM, StarCCM+, Fine/Marine, or equivalent.
- Experiences in software development using C#/Fortran/C++ is an advantage
- Good publication track record
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English
