Develop and maintain recipes in accordance to the brands’ culinary direction.
- Define standard food preparation procedures for all dishes, and integrate these procedures into the food operations
- Designing new recipes, planning menu and selecting plate presentation.
- Conduct internal food tasting activities for new and existing recipes; if needed, improvise it to the acceptance by other key employees.
- Actively source for raw ingredients of high quality, cost optimized and work best for new or existing menu items.
- Make sure that all dishes end products are quality-controlled for its taste, quality and safety and hygiene standards.
- Lead and cook by example, and be a good mentor to subordinates.
- Make sure food operations are set up in a way that it runs smoothly and efficiently at all times.
- Stay attuned to the latest food market trends and cooking techniques or methods.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine role.
- Ability to manage food stock, purchase, track expenses and manage a budget.
- Strong leadership quality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailed knowledge of purchasing, ordering, receiving, food costing and inventory management procedures.
- Strong passion for the art of food design.
- Knowledge of cost of inventory management, hygiene and safety standards.
