The incumbent will join the product risk team sits in first line of defense responsible for structuring and implementing risk management framework on product governance, trade approval and asset transfers. This is a 1-year contract (renewable) with a leading investment bank.

Key Responsibilities:

- assist with asset transfer requests for clients by reviewing, assessing and approving such transactions
- help with investigation on asset transfer requests
- escalate issues on asset transfer where necessary to management and 2LOD
- review product due diligence on products such as OTC derivatives prior to offering products to such clients
- good understanding regualtory requirements on topics such as asset transfer, products and compliance controls
- liaise with trading desk, legal and compliance on topics related to product risk, product due dilience and asset transfer
- participate in projects related to risk and control
- maintain an updated list of product information
- support new business initiatives
- promote risk awareness
- coverage on Singapore and Australia products where necessary

Key Skills:

- bachelor degree in related discipline
- 4 - 8 years of experience in first line of defense, in particular private banking or private wealth management
- knowledge in asset transfer requests from risk and control perspective
- good product knowledge across assets
- understanding of MAS regulations
- attention to details
- able to work under stress
