Senior Cost Manager

This role supports Cost Management activities as part of a Project Controls team embedded with a major developer/owner.

The Senior Cost Manager should demonstrate a fundamental understanding of construction-related costing activities and have the ability to communicate complex cost management plans to the client.

Experience of working on major data centre delivery programmes is an advantage for this role.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Preparation of cost appraisals, cost plans, cost estimates and project cash-flows
- Preparation of tender documentation under various contract forms.
- Post-contract administration and management including contract documentation, valuation of progress payment, variation assessment, cost control reporting and finalization of project final accounts.
- Undertaking procurement management, feasibility studies, value management, capital allowances, life-cycle costing, cost analysis.
- Provide support in cost management of projects.
- Work collaboratively with other Cost Managers to manage cost related issues and liaise with stakeholders on all matters relating to cost management.
- Lead and develop (where necessary), team members to deliver the service.
- Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner, and working with Clients to form a true partnership.
- Effective communication ensuring all information is available for the successful completion of projects, to liaise with other Cost Managers to ensure efficient financial control resulting in projects being cost effective.
- Liaise with other Cost Managers to ensure consistency of service delivery and to identify opportunities for developing quality of the service.
- Some regional travel may be required for this role, however the role is to be based in Singapore

**Person specification**:

- Bachelors’ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management or similar construction-costs focused qualification;
- A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor capacity for construction projects;
- A minimum of two (2) years’ of working within a Project & Cost Management consultancy business
- Construction project experience must include complex buildings projects;
- Experience as a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for data centre / mission-critical facilities would be a distinct advantage;
