WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....

Support AIAIM and Investment Vehicles within the AIA Group in their respective implementation and administration of Investment Standards set out in the internal Investment Operating Model and Investment Governance Framework (“IGF”), including training and communications requirements.

The responsibilities of this position include:

- Participating in the internal IGF walkthrough sessions organised by Group Investment, tracking the formalisation and issuance of new/revised Policies and Procedures (“P&Ps”) in light of any new/revised Investment Standards through facilitating, guiding and prompting the respective Functional Owners of such P&Ps while performing associated management reporting from the IG COE’s perspective;
- Maintaining the relevant Logs in line with the applicable Investment Standard(s) and P&Ps;
- Assessing and recommending investment governance related queries from stakeholders, with a view on recommending a course of action in-line with investment governance requirements;
- Facilitating the respective Functional owner(s) / Referee(s) to provide feedback on IGF interpretation in light of queries raised by the relevant stakeholders;
- Advocating and advising internal and external stakeholders on the Investment Operating Model and IGF as appropriate;
- Providing support in administering Investment Standards functionally owned by Investment Governance;
- Facilitating Functional Owners in the update of non-IGF policies, including advising on approval requirements and timelines;
- Facilitating the certification process to the Boards of assigned Asset Management Companies and Investment Vehicles; and
- Providing reminders to respective Functional Owners to review their P&Ps based on the respective internal review timelines.

Facilitation and implementation of Training and Knowledge Management over Investment Standards
- In conjunction with applicable Shared Services Functions, facilitating the implementation and administration of the Investment Training Policy, including tracking of staff training on the IGF as well as the Investment Operating Model;
- Facilitating the new hire walkthrough on Investment Governance in conjunction with other functions as appropriate (e.g. Compliance & Risk) and provide guidance to new hires on internal IGF resources and portals as appropriate;
- Uploading and maintaining the new and revised Standards, P&Ps as well as accompanying supplementary guidance (e.g. FAQs) on the applicable company collaboration and knowledge management platforms (e.g. SharePoint and Intranet);
- Maintaining a SharePoint site to facilitate the collection and analysis management information on Investment Governance submitted by assigned Business Units, Asset Management Companies and Investment Vehicles within the Group; and
- Providing access for applicable employees to the collaboration and knowledge management platforms functionally owned by Investment Governance or Group Investment.

Providing support in innovation and the discharging of IG COE obligations
- Supporting top-down and bottom-up identification, assessment and review of key governance and control environment requirements and the corresponding controls as embedded in the respective P&Ps together with the relevant first line and second line stakeholders;
- Supporting the revisions to the relevant internal requirements as set out in non-IGF policies with a practical view to achieving efficiency and demonstrability;
- Assessing and channeling ad hoc queries and feedback to the relevant Functional Owners and Referees at Group Investment, with a view on continually improving the IGF; and
- Assist in other IG-related matters, obligations, projects and initiatives from time to time.
