
Business Planning Manager

**Responsibilities**:
To fulfill this role, the Business Planning Manager will:
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to clients, vendors and corporate business partners (i.e. Business Development, Project Management, HR, Finance, Marketing, compliance, internal audit and service delivery consultants).
- Manage and providing oversight on the day-to-day cross functional operations, such as quality assurance of essential business documents including proposals, services quotations and costing sheets, bookings reports, consulting project governance and progression trackers.
- Liaise with finance as a business partner on relevant financial due diligence for the business unit.
- Manage business plans with business unit head and running operational excellence task forces to ensure alignment to business plan and attainment of business targets.
- Provide timely service delivery operational reporting and analysis to business unit head.
- Drive project quality assurance and governance forums in partnership with business unit program management office and practice leaders to ensure consistent, repeatable and measurable delivery of business value to clients.
- Manage and enable a business unit operations team in the performance of various administrative and operational duties to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies. These operational tasks include but are not limited to asset inventory, maintenance of accreditation and certification for credentials across the business unit and specialist consultants as well as contracts review and due diligence for the international business group.
- Ensure operational rigor and hygiene for all Singapore and international consulting services operations, including resource movement, tracking and allocation, regulatory compliance liaison and reporting as well as client due diligence such as client audits and inspections where applicable.
- Coordinate regional consulting services operations and business planning offices to drive operational excellence programs across the international business group.
- Maximizing business operational efficiency through ownership and optimisation of business-critical processes (i.e. Quote2Cash, bid management, delivery operations, project governance), policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance or equivalent.
- Minimally 10 years’ experience of relevant experience in a mid to large enterprise.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) suite of office automation tools.
- Experience in at least one of consulting, professional services or IT outsourcing related operations.
- High level of professional ethics and no prior ethical violations.
**Preferred Skills/Qualities**:
- Highly social team player who enjoys working with and collaborating across functional groups.
- Knowledge in business management, financial concepts & contract law.
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries, dealing with ambiguity and setting up internal networks to break down barriers and improve cross functional collaboration.
- Ability to handle and manage fast-pace, high volume of work, produce associated deliverables within short deadlines, work within a complex governance structure and with adequate people management experience to coordinate a small team, including delegation of authority and remote work management.
- Self-driven, possesses strong interpersonal skills and keen can-do mindset.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving ability and a believer in disrupting one-self to continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English). Other language skills including Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin and Korean will be a plus.
- Ability to interpret operational performance reports, understand financial reporting reports and develop dashboards for management information.
- Experience working in virtual teams supporting cross borders transactions and business operations.
- Working knowledge and experience in Salesforce, Workday and data analytics and visualization toolkits such as Microsoft Power BI (or equivalent) will be a plus.
