JR29354 Sr. Engineer, PKG NEW TECH DEV

Position Description

As a senior process development engineer in Micron's Advanced Packaging Technology Development group at Taiwan Taichung, you will be responsible for module process development and engaging on pathfinding project activities. In this position, you will work with Micron engineers, technology partners and vendors to develop unit processes that meet device requirements for next-generation semiconductors, integrate processes as part of cross-functional teams.

Additionally, you will address process issues with pilot line manufacturing and work on continuous improvements for manufacturability.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in semiconductor packaging industry more than 5 years
- Knowledge or experience in advanced package technology (2.5D or 3D TSV package, heterogeneous integration, or fan-out wafer level)
- Understanding on statistical process control and development with structured DOE
- Understanding on various PFA analysis and method
- Familiar with assembly and packaging processes such as flip chip die attach, wafer bonding, wafer clean, and plasma activation
- Highly skilled at problem-solving activity and lead cross functional team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Highly motivated and committed to success of the individual and the team

Educational Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, Chemical, and Physics or other relevant disciplines.
