WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As our Regional Sr Tech Dev Director for Footwear you will oversee our teams Tech Dev teams located in Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and China from your base in Singapore. You’ll lead leaders, coach, mentor and guide talent development for the Tech Dev community across AsiaYou’ll help us change the way we work, innovating around our process and tools, including Digital Product Creation. You will lead your team’s efforts to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive team. You’ll help lead our sustainability efforts, considering the planet in everything we do. You’ll model and lead and live by example a good work-life balance for your team. Finally, you’ll partner with your fellow Sr Tech Devs to lead our global Tech Development org to further our mission to make great product and serve athletes*.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You’ll partner with the WHQ-based Sr. Tech Devs, and our Asia-based leaders of Sourcing, Supply Planning, Engineering, GSM, DSM, MSM, NXT and our PMO VPs and GMs. You’ll be an active participant as we shape the future of Asia manufacturing, and you’ll partner with your GSM counterparts as we continue to strengthen our relationships with both long-standing a new manufacturing partners.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree and ten years of relevant work experience, or twelve years of experience in lieu of degree in project management and/or leadership experience in relevant product-related roles
- Experience providing leadership and direction through managers, mentoring and coaching managers, and leading talent development across a large and diverse team.
- Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams across cultures
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate strategy, goals and objectives.
- Experienced influencing skills and ability to champion functional priorities vertically within the organization as well as across global functions/partners.
- Proven experiences in directing team strategies to pre-empt and resolve product issues
- Expert knowledge of product creation and manufacturing processes for consumer products and/or materials
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and leadership of product costing, margin management, engineering, and product testing methodologies
- Strong experience in sourcing and supply planning, innovation transition processes, and/or supply chain
- Ability to travel extensively (approximately 25% of time)
