**Direct Search Global is working with a SGX Mainboard Listed Maritime company to fill the role of Senior Legal Counsel to be based in their Singapore office. The office is located at town area.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Offer legal advice and support for a variety of internal and external transactions, including corporate, offshore/commercial, and general advisory work.
- Collaborate closely with the Internal Management team and external advisory teams to handle disputes and corporate transactions.
- Work closely with different departments within the Group on joint ventures, tenders, commercial contracts, and maritime-related tasks.
- Prepare, negotiate, and review deal documentation and contracts.
- Ensure all legal activities are compliance with updated laws and regulations.
- Demonstrate autonomy in handling various tasks, such as non-disclosure agreements, memoranda of understanding, and commercial contracts.
- Conduct legal research to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Group’s business activities.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree of Law/LLB in Law.
- Be a qualified lawyer in Singapore.
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience, either in-house or in private practice.
- Prior experience in a public listed company within the offshore industry would be beneficial.
- Display a positive and proactive working attitude.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of multitasking and working independently.
