**Job Description**:
Technology advancement and innovation in research and development is giving rise to medicines that are increasingly complex including small molecule Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), biologics drugs substances and cell and gene therapy products. This meant that advanced methods and processes are required to manufacture these therapeutic compounds. As Singapore continues to attract the world’s top Biopharmaceuticals companies to locate their manufacturing plants here, locals will be needed to be equipped with the latest skillsets to take on these jobs.

The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore’s Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand. Participants of the programme are not employees of the companies but will be provided with training and work attachments in top Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing companies in advance of job placement.

As new entrants, trainees will be equipped with necessary competencies to embark on a career in the Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry. Acquisition of skills is done through a combination of facilitated classroom training and structured on-the-job training for trainees to take on manufacturing related job roles within the industry.

Amgen Singapore Manufacturing (ASM) is one of the training partner, in conjunction with Workforce Singapore (WSG) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP), to achieve the objectives of this programme. The following are available trainee roles in ASM:

- ASM1_ Associate Manufacturing I (2 positions)
- ASM1_ Associate Manufacturing -shift* required (14 Positions)
- F&E_Associate Engineer (Automation)
- F&E_Associate Enginner (process engineering)
- F&E_Maintenance Engineer - shift* required
- QA_Associate QA-PQA shift* required (3 positions)
- QC_ Associate QC- shift* required (2 positions)
- SC_Supply Chain Associate
- Shift work schedule is based on 2-2-3 pattern at 11 working hours per shift day. It will be approximately 14 work days per month based on the shift work schedule. Shift allowances apply.
