**Group Head of Compliance**

Reporting to the Group Head of Legal and Compliance, you will lead the Group Compliance function to develop and strengthen compliance and regulatory frameworks, promoting a first-class compliance culture across the firm.

As Head of Compliance, you will lead a small team of compliance managers responsible for regulatory compliance, advisory, reporting, regulatory liaison, central/employee compliance and AML/FCC.

Given the hiring company is active in several markets outside of Singapore, knowledge of global regulations, especially those of Hong Kong, Europe and the US, will be useful. In addition to such cross-border compliance experience, a legal background will be very useful given the need to draft oe update policy to meet global regulatory requirements.

This is a rare opportunity as Group Compliance roles with global exposure in Singapore are few and far between. Hiring firm offers an excellent culture and working environment and has plenty of opportunity for growth as the business continues to expand.

Key Objectives:

- Compliance team leadership
- Compliance risk assessments and reviews
- Compliance training
- Engagement with senior management, including the Board
- Ensuring compliance with local and global regulations
- Compliance advisory on new products / new business
- Developing and implementing appropriate compliance policies and procedures
- Addressing non-compliance or regulatory breaches
- Maintaining effective relationships with the firm’s regulators

**Profile**:

- Legal qualification
- Legal and/or compliance experience from a major financial firm
- Prior team leadership (of at least five people)
- Knowledge of local MAS regulations, especially the Securities and Futures Act
- Exposure to global regulators (e.g. HK SFC, US CFTC) and regulations (GDRP, MiFID, EMIR, etc)
- Knowledge of financial crime compliance (AML, anti-bribery & corruption, sanctions, etc)
- Track record of facing off to senior management (C-suite)

**Salary**:

- Base salary: ~$30kpm - $35kpm+
- Bonus: Excellent (cash plus LTI)
