**About the Company**

A regulated financial services group with a global presence and a growing footprint in the digital asset space. Its newly established digital assets brokerage arm is currently undergoing the regulatory licensing process in Singapore. As the business prepares for launch, the firm is looking to hire a founding Head of Compliance to build and lead the compliance function from the ground up.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a compliance framework aligned with the Payment Services Act (PSA) and other applicable regulations
- Oversee wallet-related compliance risks, including ownership verification, monitoring, and sanctions screening
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators, external auditors, and senior internal stakeholders
- Work closely with the broader compliance and KYC teams to leverage group infrastructure while tailoring controls to digital assets
- Build and scale policies, procedures, and controls to support future growth, including planned international expansion

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in digital assets or crypto-related compliance
- Strong understanding of MAS regulations, particularly under the PSA
- Experience in wallet compliance controls, blockchain analytics, and managing crypto transaction risks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; Mandarin fluency is a plus
- Able to operate independently and confidently in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Self-starter with strong initiative and a hands-on approach
- Entrepreneurial mindset - thrives in ambiguity and proactively drives solutions
- Agile and adaptable, comfortable pivoting strategy in response to changing needs
- Resourceful and practical, with the ability to build structure from scratch
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
