As the Head of Sales Excellence, your main focus will be to augment and extend the current efforts focused on the Google way of promoting to grow core sales skills for Asia Pacific (APAC) Large Customer Sales (LCS) focused on areas including discovery, pitching, objection handling, and closing.
You'll start with a needs analysis and institute a plan that helps our teams to organize the questions they ask, the stories we share, and importantly instills a culture of practice.
You will have support, access, and visibility of the APAC LCS leadership team to provide sponsorship, drive mutual accountability, and deliver positive outcomes that justify the program (i.e. increased in pitch, agreement sizes, etc.).
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build a focused coaching plan for the APAC LCS organization with executive alignment on strategy.
- Lead a team that will deliver one on one and one on many coaching sessions for a dedicated portion of business for which each coach is assigned. Participate in events with a focus on coaching and practice (i.e. a team offsite).
- Set clear expectations on workflow and capacity to ensure your team’s resources are being fully utilized and maximized.
- Deliver outcomes that impact business growth and have strong manager/promoter feedback as measured by customer satisfaction score, confidence change, and influence on key metrics (pitch, business growth, etc.).
- Measure and share progress against coaching program (i.e. through dashboard reporting as well as monthly/quarterly updates).
