Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you’ll be entrusted with analyzing, improving, and streamlining business workflows across various systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to consolidate data, generate meaningful insights, and support decision-making processes to drive operational efficiency and business growth.

Dutch Colony Coffee Co. is an award-winning specialty coffee company, committed to excellence in coffee roasting, retail, and hospitality. We operate retail outlets ranging from coffee bars to full kitchen concepts and are constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze existing business workflows across multiple systems to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions.
- Consolidate and analyze data from various sources to support business analytics and decision-making.
- Develop and create reports and dashboards using data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Leverage data to enhance operational processes, improve efficiency, and add value to the business.
- Use process modeling techniques (e.g., ARIS, Visio) to map out and analyze business processes.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of business performance reports, presenting key insights to leadership.
- Work independently with short timelines, demonstrating strong project management skills.
- Support system and workflow improvements through continuous analysis and solution recommendations.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a proven background in database management and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data consolidation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with SQL and other data query languages for managing and retrieving data.
- Knowledge of process modeling tools and techniques (e.g., ARIS, Visio) is a plus.
- Understanding of business systems and ability to analyze and propose improvements to workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
