Purchasing Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordination of payment issues between suppliers and our company.
- Coordination of dispute between our requestors and suppliers.
- Assist internal department and in some occasion our client in obtaining quotations.
- Ensure suppliers in fulfilling our requirement, eg submitting FPC, mill certificates etc.
- Monitoring and updating monthly market price for commonly purchase items such as hardware etc.
- Constantly searching for alternative products to replace present expensive products.
- Providing products advice to requestors.
- Minimize project downtime due to material supplies.
- Recommend new products to requestors.
- Maximize on the volume of products purchased to gain economics of scale.
- Reviews and process purchase requisitions. (refer to project allocation)
- Issuance & communication of purchase orders. (refer to project allocation)
- Scanning, Sorting & Filing of Purchase Orders.
- Following up of order acknowledgements with suppliers and update to system.

**Requirements**:

- N level, O level
- No experience required

**Additional Information**:

- Location: Tuas South Street 5
- 5 day work week
- Transport provided at Boon Lay, Woodlands, Ang Mo Kio

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $2,800.00 per month
