Job Title: Senior Purchasing Officer

Location: Tuas

Basic Salary starts from $3500 -$4000 (Depends on experience)

Working Day: 5 Days per week

Working Hours: 8.15am to 5.45pm

Benefits: 14 Days Annual Leave, Yearly Bonus

Job Duties:

- Assist Purchasing Manager / Head of Department in management of Purchasing Department.
- Purchase materials from local and overseas as per assigned lists of product range; process Purchase Orders.
- Monitor the delivery of materials, update shipment advice for overseas orders, and ensure the materials are received at stipulated time for Production commencement.
- Print monthly purchase reports and update approved vendor / supplier listing.
- Assist the Manager in procurement (which shall include sourcing, negotiating, following-up and expediting of orders).
- Negotiate with suppliers for best price, best quality, best delivery and purchase materials on good credit terms.
- Maintain approved vendor list and review on regular basis.
- Filing of purchase documents.
- Liaise with Accounts Department on the payment to suppliers and contractors.
- Supervise Purchasing Assistant

Job Requirements:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Purchasing Management
- At least 1 - 2 years relevant experience
