Logistic Executive (Container Ships) - Full Time Permanent

This role is responsible of providing logístical support by ensuring the service integrity within the logistics chain, while researching and proposing relevant cost effective solutions. In addition to the logístical support, you will also be required to manage KPI and maintain systems as an administrator.

**Your main job responsibilities include, but not limited to**:
**1. Logistical Support (70%)**:
Liaising with Superintendents and Purchasers for ship spares logistics arrangement

Provide logistics solution for connection of ship spares to target vessel

Controlling of cost and delivery lead time to achieve the most economical logistics solution

Close coordination with 3rd Party Logistics Provider to ensure shipping instructions are executed

Monitoring and addressing stock-list inaccuracy with the various 3PLs

Resolve service failures with 3rd Party Logistics Provider

Requesting of quotation for freight cost for ship spares whenever necessary

Handling and processing of invoices received from 3PL

Cover duties of colleagues who are on leave.

**2. Analytical Support (30%)**:
Updating and tracking of all ship spares arrangement via Microsoft Excel

Analysing of data collected in Excel to determine internal performance and areas of improvement

Tabulation of department’s performance via a Monthly logistics cost reporting

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain, Operation Research. Fresh graduate may also apply

Basic knowledge of main conveyance modes, warehousing, custom clearance and incoterms

Excellent skill in Microsoft Excel and Power Point

Good Analytical Capability

Good command of English and interpersonal communication skills

Meticulous and willing to perform transactional tasks.

Results oriented and displays a willingness to learn

Displays a positive attitude

**This role is opened for local employment only.
