Corporate Counsel, Corporate Solutions APAC
What This Job Involves
- Using your legal expertise
Your primary duty is to support the General Counsel, Work Dynamics APAC on transactional work for regional and global clients in APAC. This role involves direct interaction with internal clients as well as external parties such as clients, vendors and other third parties to provide support across the Work Dynamics business lines. You will be identifying and managing risk exposures, and delivering proactive, effective and strategic advice for our operations in APAC.
You will play an important role in advising on, drafting and negotiating contracts including assisting with tender responses and working on issue management. You will work closely with our APAC and global legal team partners including in relation to ensuring that we comply with relevant legal and ethical obligations.
Contributing to the team’s strategic direction
Your role involves providing support to the firm’s business interests and commercial objectives. You will also be assisting with the development of processes and procedures to identify and manage legal risks, including conducting of training.
- Educated And Experienced
You hold a law degree from a recognised law school with 5 to 7 years of post-admission experience in private practice or an in-house position. It would be great if you have experience working in an MNC.
People person
You have the ability to build strong relationships and engage with a very broad range of stakeholders with diverse skillsets and personalities. You also have good communication skills.
Capable
You are commercially savvy, with a highly responsive, proactive, and solutions oriented mind-set. You are able to effectively juggle priorities to meet timeframes and deadlines set by the business. You are also able to work independently as well as in a team.
