**You will join our Master Planning and Urbanism**department**
As our new Urban Designer you will be part of Ramboll Singapore Hub to serve our public and private sector clients in the region. We have a growing clientele of cities and master developers who benefit from the comprehensive set of solutions the team offers from strategic planning to integrated master plans to implementation strategy.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Perform all task delegated by Ramboll Master Planning team
- Report directly to our Associate Director, Urban Design, who will provide design direction for projects
- Analyse, conceptualise and propose design approach and strategies to fit the brief for the master planning project
- Use strong design sense and skills to translate the idea into drawings/diagrams
- Undertake production of graphics, drawings, sections, elevations and perspectives where needed to support the visual communication of the design scheme
- Prepare presentation and submission materials
- Assist in the preparation of commercial proposals, where needed
- Responsible to deliver all assigned task on time and at the quality defined by the supervisor and management
- Help and collaborate with other team members/disciplines as and when required

- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in urban design or architecture
- Fresh or recent graduate, with up to 2 years of experience in master planning, architecture, urban design work are encouraged to apply
- An available portfolio or samples of work demonstrating design thinking methodology and/or relevant design skills
- Analytical abilities on reading topographical and architectural building plans and maps
- Relevant IT skills and experience in platforms such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, 3D Studio Max and/or SketchUp, Illustrator, etc
- Proficiency in ArcGIS will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Good presentation and communication skills
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: The person will need to work under limited supervision of other professionals in the area for non-routine work. He / She should work and solve tasks directly linked to the urban design discipline in master planning projects. And must demonstrated a high level of collaborative work ethic and contribute to team-level results.
