Research Assistant, Nus-ncs Joint Lab, School of Computing

The Research Assistant will be responsible for supporting the research team to contribute research deliverables, including designing and implementing efficient and robust systems and algorithms, towards the development of a research prototype of data security and privacy solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Perform exploratory data analysis on large-volume cybersecurity-related data
- Assist in building interactive data visualisation dashboards
- Utilise coding skills and understand the methodology of different machine learning models and libraries
- Develop effective graph-based machine learning and deep learning algorithms on cybersecurity-related problems
- Perform data engineering tasks including data cleansing and processing for analysis of real-world datasets;
- Assist with the editing and preparation of manuscripts, reports and presentations;
- Participate in presentations and demos to exhibit work at appropriate events;
- Build strong teamwork and communication skills, and proactive working attitude
**Qualifications**
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science
- Possess experience or interest in at least one of the research areas - Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, data security and privacy solutions for Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) test beds, Web Development, Software Engineering, Systems & Networking, Cyber Security
