Science Centre Singapore (SCS) is an informal educational institution dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science and technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences, thereby contributing to the nation's development of its human resource.

Essential Job Functions

The incumbent will provide support in driving and operationalising all training activities. He/She will also play a key role in helping to build a learning culture in SCS.

The jobscope includes but is not limited to the following:
1. Curriculum Design & Development
- Develop face-to-face/online learning curriculum for staff training with the objective of achieving/maintaining selected specific skills.
- Embrace different types of training techniques, including e-learning, videos, tutorials and resource guides etc. Create training materials and ensure that quality standards are met. Create e-learning materials in a learning platform (learning management system) when needed.
- Continuously seek out and adapt latest and most appropriate instructional design and learning technology techniques, theories and methodologies to create unique and engaging content to meet the needs of our target audience.

2. Training Operations & Delivery
- Set up the operational work requirements including workflows and processes.
- Manage budget and resources including processing registration/sales, billing (if applicable) and/or SkillsFuture grant-related administration (if applicable).
- Arrange and execute all training logistics as required for each training workshop.
- Manage a pool of internal trainers and training schedule. Source and procure external trainers/overseas trainers (if required).
- Facilitate or conduct training workshops. Ability to conduct training will be an advantage

3. Learning & Development (General)
- Support the OD team in planning and organising learning activities/events for staff (eg: talks, sharing sessions, briefings, workshops, festivals etc).

4. Projects
- Assist to set-up and verify staff competency records in the Workday system
- Assist to implement/manage any organisation-wide change initiatives

5. Any other work as assigned by supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Strong command of the English language (written and spoken).
- A University degree preferably with at least 4 years of relevant experience in Curriculum Design, Training or Learning & Development; including design of learning intervention and evaluation of programmes.
- Recognised training qualification. Eg: ACTA, ACLP, DACE, DDDLP
- Familiar with digital learning tools and platforms.

**Salary**: $3,704.00 - $4,425.00 per month
