The Tax Policy directorate formulates tax policies to create a competitive, equitable, and fiscally resilient tax system.
What you will be working on
As a Tax Policy (TP) officer in MOF, you will formulate and implement tax policies to ensure a pro-growth fiscal system that expands Singapore's economic space and promotes social objectives. Your responsibilities include:
Identifying initiatives and processing approvals to facilitate optimal management of tax measures through other government agencies.
Engaging and consulting relevant stakeholders in reviewing and implementing tax policies.
Undertaking benchmarking research/studies and addressing international tax developments with medium/long-term impacts.
What we are looking for
A background in Economics, Business, or Accountancy is advantageous.
Keen interest and passion for public policy work.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with good writing abilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
