An exciting opportunity to assist the Legal Manager and Data Protection Officer (DPO) with preparing and conducting compliance audits and Trustmark certification was opened at the International French School. Your knowledge and experience will be critical in assessing the compliance of established protocols and procedures as well as in identifying and suggesting the areas of improvement.

**Responsibilities**

**Personal Data Protection**
- Conducting audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the school's data protection practices
- Providing advisory support to the teams on maintenance of data inventories,
- Advising management and other stakeholders on data protection issues and concerns
- Assisting the DPO to prepare the Data Protection audit exercise to achieve the Trustmark Certification.
- Evaluating, implementing and monitoring personal data protection compliance policies, procedures, controls and/or remediation measures.

**Audit**
- Supporting the Legal Manager in the audit process to ensure tasks assigned are executed diligently in accordance with the requirements.
- Liaising the various stakeholders involved
- Review and manage policies and frameworks for compliance with relevant departments and regulatory requirements

**Skills, Ability and Required Qualification**
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal/Law studies
- PDPA certification
- Three or more years of experience in data protection compliance
- Expertise in data protection laws and practices, including deep understanding of PDPA or GDPR
- Experience in a legal, audit, or risk management role
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Being a source of proposals - proactivity
- Demonstrating rigor and accuracy, attention to detail.
- Being able to clearly and diplomatically express the expectations /requests to different departments, including senior management
- Good writing skills (accuracy and expression)
- Proficiency in English, French would be a plus to facilitate internal communication
