**What the role is**
- The Assistant Director (Corporate Planning) will support VITAL Senior Management in charting the strategic roadmap and driving the transformation of the organisation to fulfil its vision of being a “a globally recognised leader for corporate shared services”.
**What you will be working on**
- Driving the strategic planning process to identify industry trends, challenges as well as opportunities and formulating strategies to enable VITAL to thrive amidst a constantly evolving operating environment;
- Driving the corporate planning process to implement organisational strategies;
- Promote organisational excellence through the innovation framework and quality management system;
- Facilitating the strategic profiling of VITAL through identifying suitable national/ international platforms to showcase VITAL and developing the appropriate strategic content/ messages to be delivered at these platforms; and
- Formulating business outsourcing strategies to enable VITAL to strategically leverage external service providers to enhance VITAL’s service offerings and bring value to the Singapore Public Service. **What we are looking for**
- Experience in corporate planning, formulating strategic plans and managing organizational performance
- Experience in driving business outsourcing, leading whole-organisation transformation efforts and in putting in place effective infrastructures and systems as well as organisational excellence initiatives, would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate data and information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong relationship management and organisational planning skills.
- Ability to lead a team in an environment characterised by ambiguity and evolving priorities.
- Adept at communicating to all levels of stakeholders from Management to staff in the oral and written mediums.
