**Responsibilities**:

- Process full spectrum of documentary trade transactions and to deliver timely and quality service to the Bank’s customers
- Perform import/export LC documents check against LC terms
- Follow through all trade finance and loan transactions end to end
- Perform data entries for all the Trade Products (from negotiation, collection, LC/BG issuance to Trade and term Loan) and loan products in the system
- Process deposit, bilateral loan, syndication loan, loan drawdowns, monitor loan maturity, perform rollover and repayments
- Input/update static data for onboarding customers and periodic review, follow up on outstanding documents and safekeeping of documents
- Perform audit confirmation
- Perform AML/CFT checks and searches for new transactions
- Liaise with Treasury on exchange rate/interest rate and to report fund movement in a timely manner
- Investigate on unreconciled transactions
- Prepare monthly trade finance and loans statistics reports
- Prepare and participate in UAT activities for system implementation/enhancement/migration activities
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
- To back up other team such as treasury settlement and private banking operations where applicable

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree graduate in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade finance operations preferably in a wholesale bank
- Conversant in UCP600/ ISBP/ URC/ URR/ URDG/ ISP/ Incoterm
- Able to independently check LC documents with good understanding of UCP600, URC522 and other ICC International practice
- Preferably with knowledge of account opening documentation and data maintenance
- Prior work experience in a Chinese bank is advantageous
- Meticulous, organized and attentive to details with good multi-tasking skills
- Proactive and driven towards continuous improvement and learning
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, team-player, ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organization and demands of internal and external stakeholders
- Good team work spirit, is able to work and communicate with people from all level
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (Spoken & Written) required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work under pressure
