Our Oilfield Chemical team oversees the chemical technology solutions for hydrocarbon production, transportation and processing. We are a leader in oil and water separation technology. We provide chemicals and support for integrity management, flow assurance, production optimization, manage water treatment, and resolve environmental issues globally

As a HSE Specialist, you'll support health, safety, and environment (HSE) activities for the Chemical plant located in Jurong Island. You're to provide HSE technical guidance accordance to Baker Hughes policies & procedures. Expert in legislation standard for facilities operations

As a HSE Specialist - Oilfield Industrial Chemical, you will be responsible for:

- Developing, Implementing, maintaining, and auditing Baker Hughes HSE Management System at worksite.
- Being visible in the field and approachable for HSE matters within all level of personnel within Baker Hughes business structure.
- Supporting Plant Manager and site team to ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Investigating incidents / near-miss events and complete RCA investigation report at worksite with final report submitted to HSE Manager and Plant Manager
- Organizing HSE events / programs / initiatives / trainings that recommended by Regional & Global HSE functions with the worksite team inclusive of maintaining HSE items’ stock.
- Developing and maintaining emergency response capability and coordinating the emergency response activities for the site.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, Safety, Health and Environment or Diploma can be considered.
- Have 5 - 10 years of Health, Safety & Environment experience in the chemical manufacturing (Batch Processing) or refinery industry. Having operations experience is an added advantage.
- Have WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) registration and Fire Safety Manager registration.
- Have flexibility on working hours (Weekend).
