- The Global Inventory Europe team operates from the 3 offices in the most important ports in the world and for that reason a very important department within the organization. As Area Inventory Planner you are part of the Global Inventory Planning team with direct colleagues in Singapore, Fujairah and Rotterdam.**What you will be doing**
- The Area Inventory Planner is responsible for planning, managing and controlling inventory for one or more localities in the region and in line with set targets. The Area Inventory Planner decides what should be in stock, how much should be in stock and when to reorder (this includes reordering the defined stock portfolio per location). As an Area Inventory Planner you are a specialist in inventory planning - and management with predictable availability and minimum excess inventory as the main objective. In order to do this well, you work together with different departments at the different locations to gather the information and instruct them on the plans that, for example, result from the forecasts you have made.**Who you are**
- We are looking for an accurate person who has the ability to work under pressure. Because of your skills and effective communication, you can collaborate at all levels of the organization, both internally and towards suppliers. You can use your skills and knowledge of ERP and MS Excel to make inventory planning as efficient and LEAN as possible. You can demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and know how to take the right actions to achieve the set KPIs. You enjoy presenting your insights to various stakeholders. With your obtained insights you can clearly see where there are areas for improvement, with which you and the team can take action.**Job Requirement**

**Preferred skills and knowledge**:

- A Bachelor degree with relevant experience in:

- Demand planning
- Customer forecasting
- Planning on an international level
- Good communication skill
- Knowledge in ERP systems, Inventory Planning solutions and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of transport and storage of hazardous materials.
- Able to communicate effectively within a multinational environment.
- You can work in a team as well as independently and you dare to take own initiatives.
- You work systematically and are accurate and analytical.
