Our client is a top tier multi-national hedge fund and they are now looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the entire payroll operation and projects in APAC.

**Reponsibility**
- Plan, coordinate, and manage payroll department daily activities
- Ensure all payroll processes are executed accurately and timely
- Ensure all payroll regulatory requirements are met and are in compliance with local authorities
- Initiate and implement global process improvement
- Prepare payroll related accruals and reconciliations to the general ledger
- Communicate and implement pay policies and procedures in collaboration with internal Departments
- Ensure payroll balancing and system integrity
- Review and analyze balancing procedures to ensure accuracy of payroll data
- Plan and implement year-end payroll procedures
- Manage offshore functions of the Department
- Review and analyse employee compensation and resolve tax issues
- Assist in the preparation and development of various reports including those related to audits, compliance, and analysis
- Create and maintain log/ tracking tools to monitor status of various processes

**Requirements**:

- 7-15 years of payroll experience, preferably in HK, JP, SG, TW & AUS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office 365, Advanced Excel skills with knowledge of VLOOKUP’s, sum ifs and pivot tables
- Strong attention to details and good problem solver
- Willing to learn payroll systems in other countries
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
- Superb relationship and customer management skills
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation
- Knowledge of any Asian language(s) will be advantageous
