Security Services Practice Lead

The role:
As a Practice Lead, you are a senior practitioner at SoftwareOne with a particular focus on Cybersecurity solutions at a global level. In your capacity you will develop the strategy which will support the growth and success of Service Lines through complimentary portfolio offers from your Practice.

You are multi-disciplined overseeing the portfolio conception, portfolio delivery approach, supporting in pre-sales efforts and right sizing the capacity and capability for the success of your Practice’s portfolio.

You will work closely with Service Line Product Managers and have a bias for action, you will be considered an expert and thought leader in your domain always maintaining a customer-focused outlook.

The characteristics of the role suits someone who is entrepreneurially driven to see a Security practice succeed and grow with real-world delivery experience distilling business results through solution delivery.

Your spoken English language and communications skills will be essential in keeping your global stakeholders informed of progress and dealing with their concerns effectively.

In the role you will,- conduct market research, drawing on inputs from internal (e.g., delivery leadership, regional heads, etc.) and external stakeholders (e.g., system vendors, customer, etc.) as well as proprietary research- align the Practice strategy / solution priorities for the mid to long-term enablement of Service Line objectives- develop the business case for solution investment (new or changes) based on market research- manage a virtual P&L by working with your regional partners to build your budget (revenue, costs and target contribution margin) allowing you to hire and retain talented team members in alignment with the dynamically evolving business needs- set and communicate priorities for the overall Practice-
- drive the performance management motions for your team members and engages in regular bi-directional feedback sessions always looking for ways to raise the bar by seeking insights on areas for improvement within the Practice, the Software & Cloud Services organization, and the broader company- be ready to work in agile style (daily, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective)- work in an environment that adapts quickly to creative change, using agile principles

To successfully deliver to your objectives, you will be well served by having the following skills and experiences- an in-depth understanding of the security domain, emerging trends, how it impacts customers and comprehensive knowledge of implementation- a confident Leader who is highly motivated, self-driven, and results oriented- able to work effectively with people having diverse skillsets and experience levels, passionate about helping people grow- business case development and presentations- navigating through international matrix structures- using a consultative/solution selling approach to senior business decision-makers by reinforcing the value of SoftwareOne services to customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities.- complex problem solving and assertive consultative skills

**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Professional Scrum Product Owner Certification or Certified Scrum Product Owner- As we are focused on cloud centric solutions you will need to understand the platforms for which your solutions and customer environments operate, so you should be certified with- AWS Certified Security - Specialty or _- AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies_- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert_
