Job summary
Amazon is seeking a self-motivated, highly-organised, and creative public relations professional to join the International Consumer PR Campaigns team working across the APAC region. The individual will support the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of flagship, high-profile consumer PR campaigns, which take place across multiple countries, for Amazon’s retail businesses across Australia, China, India, Japan, and Singapore. The role will report into the Director of Campaigns on the Campaigns team, which sits on the International Consumer PR team, and work closely with APAC in-country teams. The role of the central Campaigns team is two-fold: firstly, to help maintain operational excellence and consistency through comprehensive project management and process development to reduce inefficiencies; and secondly, to help raise the creative bar by delivering best-in-class campaign work which can be rolled out across multiple locales.
Key job responsibilities
- Creating and adapting strategies, briefs, and plans across Amazon retail events including our flagship Prime Day and Holiday campaigns
- Project management and coordination across APAC to help create efficiencies and raise the creative bar
- Developing central toolkits and impactful assets to support the delivery of best-in-class campaign work in local countries across the region
- Managing and evolving measurement, evaluation, and reporting processes to ensure a slick and cohesive operation across multiple locales
- Using customer insight to inform strategies to ensure we continue to innovate and deliver work to the right audiences with the right impact
- Collaborating with internal stakeholder teams to drive successful integrated campaign delivery
**Skills**:
- Consumer PR expert - proven track record of delivering across multiple APAC locales and good cultural awareness of what works for brands across the region
- Tactically aware and knowledgeable about what’s going on in the media - to deliver maximum PR benefit for the brand as well as identify and mitigate risk related to campaign creative
- Experience of integrated marketing - able to work with multiple business teams and stakeholders to support in delivering integrated communications campaigns and amplify ATL work
- Strategic thinker - ensuring that PR activity delivers against core business objectives and articulates key messages
- Proactive in the extreme - enjoys taking responsibility and making things happen - often to a tight deadline
- Highly organised - able to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while managing essential admin and reporting work
- Strong team player - able to inspire peers, teams, and agencies to deliver
- Adaptable - able to work in a fast-paced corporate environment and quickly gain knowledge of different locales to ensure campaigns can deliver or be adapted for multiple territories
- Ideally educated to a degree level
- Experience of delivery and implementation of large scale customer-facing experiential activity
