**Job Purpose & Objectives**
- To maintain and grow new and existing corporate client relationships, supporting the senior bankers
- To maximize the revenues of the Bank through originating cross-selling activities
- To coordinate the whole credit approval process (liaising with credit risk and product teams), supporting senior bankers
**Key Responsibilities**
- Originate new business with major corporations across South East Asia & India through liaising with product teams and BBVA offices in the Americas, Europe, Turkey and Asia
- Maintain regular client contact for daily servicing matters and ongoing account monitoring
- Formulate account strategy & associated income forecasts, including delivering on BBVA’s award-winning Sustainability agenda
- Present new business case/annual renewal at local Credit Committee & New Business Committee
- Work closely with Asia Risk & Portfolio Management to resolve internal credit queries
- Liaise with legal, compliance and Sustainability Risk departments to complete due diligence
- Prepare internal reports to facilitate strategic business planning and management decisions
**Job Specifications**
Qualification & Experience
- 5 - 7 years of supporting corporate clients, preferably with solid credit knowledge
- CMFAS 4A qualification desirable
**Knowledge & Skills**
- Strong credit and business strategy skills, with experience in managing global clients or product teams. The applicant will need to gain knowledge of BBVA internal platforms for credit, pricing, revenue recording
- Excellent analytical skills, with proven ability to interpret, analyse and present information
- Bloomberg knowledge desirable
- PC literacy (Microsoft Office including word, excel and powerpoint)
**Language**
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement
- Languages for liaising with BBVA HQ and network sites (where many clients / colleagues often do not speak English) are highly desirable. Spanish is the primary language of operation. BBVA is also the largest international bank in Turkey
**Other Skills (e.g. Interpersonal, Communication etc)**
- Customer-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work in a matrix reporting structure, multi-functional and cross-cultural environment
- Able to liaise with internal departments for identifying opportunities and closing transactions
- Ability to work under pressure; must be a team player
