**Role & Responsibilities**
- At least 6 years of experience in an IT function, with at least 5 years as a DBA
- At least 3 years of experience in a multi-disciplined IT environment with a strong background in service delivery and production operational support
- Hands-on experience with MSSQL as a DBA
- Hands-on experience with MSSQL Always on, Logshipping, and MSSQL Cluster
- Development skills using PowerShell
- Ability to provide high quality, balanced analysis and advice on a range of complex issues within specified SLA
- Ability to identify key methodological or process issues in the team and take responsibility for addressing them
- Ability to evaluate solutions critically and choose appropriate solutions
- Good aptitude in complying with ITIL framework (Incident Management, Change Management)
- Understanding of Business Continuity requirements
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in identifying and analyzing root causes of repeating problems and escalating to responsible parties for recovery and prevention
- Degree in Information Technology, or related discipline, with certification in MSSQL databases
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in an investment banking-focused business
- Fluency in English
