**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and perform repairs or escalate to senior IT staff as necessary.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and software installations, ensuring compatibility and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Assist in the management of user accounts and access privileges, ensuring appropriate levels of security and data protection.
- Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide suggestions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training in IT support is a plus.
- Prior experience in a technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, user management, and basic network configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour when interacting with users.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
