The role will be part of the Cembrane division. Cembrane is the leading producer of Silicon Carbide (SiC) membranes for water and wastewater treatment, membranes enabling safe drinking water and responsible wastewater treatment in more than 65 countries.
This position can be based at one of our locations in Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong or Shanghai).
**What is the Role?**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- OEM Development:
- Identify, onboard, and manage OEM partners to achieve revenue and pipeline targets.
- Ensure active participation in Cembrane's Certified Partner Program.
- Revenue and Growth:
- Achieve exponential revenue growth within 5 years.
- Monitor OEM performance to align with revenue milestones.
- Market Penetration:
- Establish active OEM presence in all major South and East Asian markets.
- Partner Support:
- Provide technical and commercial guidance to OEMs.
- Facilitate training, knowledge sharing, and troubleshooting.
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor trends, identify opportunities, and report competitive insights to inform strategy.
- Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare quarterly reports on revenue, partner performance, and emerging challenges.
**Does this sound like you?**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- More than 8 years of experience in regional sales, business development, or partner management roles in the water industry.
- Proven track record of building and managing OEM networks, preferably in water treatment industry.
**Skills**:
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in pipeline management and project lifecycle tracking.
- Familiarity with regional regulations and market dynamics in water treatment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and innovation.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in diverse cultural and business environments.
Travel Requirements:
Must be able to travel easily and extensively across Asia and to Europe.
