**Position: MySQL/Oracle Database Administrator (ASIA)**
**Employment Type: 1 year Agency Contract (Highly Renewable)**
**Location: Changi Business Park**

**Responsibilities**:
**MySQL Server DBA**
- The MySQL Database Administrator will be responsible for administering development/test and production database servers.
- This person will support and develop our MySQL Server databases as well as work with the infrastructure DBA to ensure the performance, availability, and security of the databases.
- Having BI/ Data warehousing experience is a huge asset as well
- This role requires a proven track record of successfully delivering and maintaining Database Management, MySQL Server, SQL Programming, Database Security, Requirements Analysis, Problem Solving, Promoting Process Improvement, Data Maintenance, Database Performance Tuning, Process Improvement, Large System Implementation, Database replication, good understanding of Linux OS administration

**Oracle Server DBA**
- Performs many related database functions across one or more engineering teams, including designing, installation and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery design and configuration management.

Job Requirements:
**MySQL Server DBA**
- Experience with stored procedures, triggers, views, constraints and cursors
- Logical and Physical database design, performance, scalability and tuning reviews/assessments (DB and SQL tuning), and query monitoring
- Backup recovery, high availability/Cluster and DR
- Strong skills in Replication
- Assisting, troubleshooting and guiding developers with any issues
- Knowledge of additional DBMS's is a plus
- Must have strong Windows/Linux background skills
- Strong problem research and resolution skills
- Performance monitoring and tuning background
- Strong background knowledge of Active directory security

**Oracle Server DBA**
- Experience with Data Modelling tools
- Previous experience with Oracle 11g/12c ASM and Data Guard Disaster Recovery
- Experience with UNIX and Linux Administration and shell scripting
- Installation, Configuration and Performance Tuning
- Expertise in backup/recovery and failover methods with Data Guard and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle RAC database, clustered environment set-up, Data Guard, Advanced Security features, Audit Vault, Database Vault, Partitioning, Replication, Flashback, Network configurations and Storage Configurations.
