**MySQL Database Administrator**

Job Title: MySQL Database Administrator

Work Location: Central Area, Singapore

**About the Job**

**Primary Responsibilities**:
1. Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database servers.

2. Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity.

3. Ensure database security and backup and recovery procedures.

4. Collaborate with developers to design and implement database solutions.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

6. Develop and maintain database documentation and standards.

7. Manage database users and permissions.

8. Perform database upgrades and patches.

9. Develop and maintain data migration procedures.

10. Implement and maintain database replication and clustering.

11. Assist in other IT related tasks, as when required.

**Job Requirements**:
1. Diploma or Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. At least 3-5 years of experience in MySQL database administration.

3. Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and performance tuning.

4. Familiarity with Linux operating system and command line interface.

5. Experience with backup and recovery strategies.

6. Strong SQL skills.

7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

8. Experience with database replication and clustering.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
